Rajan Datar Joins Trevor Noah’s “What Now?” Podcast on Spotify

I recently had the incredible opportunity to join The Trevor Noah Podcast on Spotify, where Trevor and I engaged in a lively and insightful conversation. Known for my work with BBC’s The Travel Show, I brought my experiences from global journalism and storytelling to the table. In our discussion, we explored my journey, reflecting on cultural exploration and the evolving world of travel post-pandemic. Trevor’s sharp humour, unique take on the world and keen insight added a special dynamic to our conversation, making for an engaging exchange about media, travel, and current events.

Throughout the episode, I shared some of my favourite stories from my years of travelling – such as the story of the beautiful village of Hallstatt with a population of 800 that gets 10,000 tourists a day dressed as Elsa from Frozen based on a myth!

Whether from remote, hidden corners of the globe or bustling cities—while explaining how those experiences shaped my understanding of different cultures and global issues. We also touched on the rapid evolution of journalism in the digital age, and the importance of authentic storytelling to connect people across borders. It was a real pleasure to appear on *The Trevor Noah Podcast*, and I hope you find our discussion as engaging as I did.
