MCing in Seville & Bass in Sarajevo

It was brilliant to be MC and moderator at a really far thinking conference last week in Seville. It was a gathering of big thinkers and players in the travel and tourism world who all want the same thing: tourism that complements and enhances the local environment and communities. My big thing is local people no longer want to be extras in their own movie so we have to change our attitudes to travel. More gratitude for where we are and less self gratification ie feeling the place owes us something because we paid to go there.

Meanwhile found out that the BBC Global story podcast I featured in as guest expert has surpassed ONE MILLION views on YouTube! Amazing...

And still buzzing after filming a BBC Travel Show in Bosnia - and playing bass with a local band in Sarajevo’s coolest club.
